Our History
Chrishaunta was diagnosed with PCOS at the student clinic on her college campus in 2011. She came in for a birth control refill and left finally having a culprit for her excess facial hair, absent periods, insulin resistance, and difficulty losing weight. She went home and did the first thing most women do, she googled it.
Her google search yielded a websites filled with acronyms she didn’t understand and women she couldn't identify with. So, she ignored her symptoms and lived in dismay. Years later, she was tired of feeling powerless and decided to educate herself about PCOS and how she could decrease her symptoms.
In 2015, she wanted to create an online space to share her strength and knowledge with other cysters struggling with PCOS symptoms so she launched HelloPCOS.com.
Chrishaunta continues to share her journey and encourage other women with PCOS to take control on various platforms. She believes that although there is no cure for PCOS, with the knowledge, PCOS friendly products, and support from other cysters- it is possible to live a happy and healthy life with PCOS.
